A lot of users like to copy text out of Word because of the spell checking and other word processing features that it has. This is possible, but Word puts formatting in the site that browsers will read instead of your default stylesheet that is already on your website. This could cause your fonts, font colors, spacing and sizes to look different from the rest of the site. It is best to follow the directions below to remove that formatting.
- Copy text from your Word document.
- Click on one of three options to help you paste from Word.
- Paste from Word- This will clean the Word formatting.

- Paste from Word cleaning Fonts and Sizes- This will clean the Word fonts and sizes formatting.

- Paste Plain Text- Using this will remove all formatting and simply paste your text as plain text.

The other options is to paste your text to a plain text editor such as notepad and then copy the text from there and paste into your text editor. This does the same thing as the Paste Plain Text button.
